On Monday the 24th of June a group of 12 talented chess players from our chess club traveled to Tyndale Christian School to compete in this term’s Interschool Chess tournament. It was a large competition with over eighty players and seven schools competing. There was some great competition by other schools, including Redeemer Lutheran school, who came in first place. This term we came in second place with some great performances from Dylan and Nathan in particular. Dylan was best in our school winning six out of seven games and finished in third place on the individual standings. Aishwarya also did very well, achieving a silver medal in her first tournament. Well done to the whole team on great sportsmanship and winning attitudes all day.
