Year 2 STEM Solar Ovens

This term the Year 2 STEM class has been learning about solar energy, and how dark colours absorb the sun's light creating greater heat, and reflected by lighter colours, making that surface cooler. Last week we put all our learning together to test out our pizza box solar ovens to make some S'mores (biscuits, marshmallow and chocolate sandwiches!) They certainly were a delicious way to learn about our amazing sun.
